Federal Tyre Service - Since 1956
In the Beginning
Federal Tyre Service Company Limited was launched in 1956 as Federal Taxi Service and AutoSupplies by Hakim and Miriam Mohammed.
Federal's home office location on Cipero Street helped kick off the automotive business in that area as Federal became known by everybody in South Trinidad.
The 80's and Expansion
Starting circa 1978, the business started to evolve. The children, Ashmeed, Nick and Randy were brought into the business and Federal starting diversifying into Tyre Sales and Services, Auto Parts and Accessories.
Federal once again led Trinidad in a change to meet a growing need for a combination of Automotive supplies and services. A client centric focus for whole car care was emerging. Service centre technicians were brought on and trained in multi-disciplined areas, so as to handle any repair job.
Racing Background
Federal was once again at the forefront of the emerging auto racing scene in Trinidad in the early 80's. Randy and Ashmeed successfully raced the Wallerfield circuit for a number of years, winning numerous trophies. And Nick was a Rally driver.
That experience translated into car safety and performance, once again expanding Federal's portfolio of services and raising the bar for customer expectations as to what an automotive shop can do for their car.
The racing blood carried into the next generation, with Marc, Richard and Brittany performing at top level go-kart events.

The Future......
With years of customer experience, a racing background and dedication to pushing a superior automotive customer experience, Federal Tyre Service company is embarking on its next evolution to embrace the Digital experience for its customers.
This is more than just putting up a new website. We are updating our business process, the way we engage with our customers, and our actual automotive service workflows.
